This is a limited edition print incorporating silver metal leaf. Alison glued cardboard fish into a perpex plate. She then painted each fish with oil based ink before carefully wiping any excuss from the surface of the plate with tissue paper. She then positioned the plate on the bed of etching press and placed etching paper on top. The pressure from the press transferred the ink onto the paper. 
 
 The plate prouced eight impressions all inked individually. Once the ink had dried, Alison added watercolour. To add the silver metal-leaf she first painted a thin layer of special glue in the desired areas before carefully applying the silver leaf and rubbing off any unwanted areas. She then signed and editioned the finished print.
