On one of my trips to Suffolk I popped into Orford to sketch and paint the sun setting over the quay. Because the sun was just going down, I only had time to makes a pencil drawing and take photographs. A couple of days later, working in my garden studio, I painted the view of that late afternoon light that is quite often seen on the Suffolk coast.
