In 2008, Clare, a packaging design specialist from Suffolk, had a 'geisha makeover' in Kyoto, Japan, which sparked her fascination with Japanese culture's precision in design.

Over the years, Clare collected vintage kimono fabrics and started sewing with them in 2011. With practice and renewed passion, her creations flourished.

Since then, Clare has dedicated countless hours to sewing on her upgraded machine to meet growing demand for her bags.

Starting in 2012, Clare collaborated with development groups and social projects in Southeast Asia, where she currently resides, to expand her business while supporting groups facing unique challenges.
