About the event

This new and exciting workshop is hosted by Helen Martiner.

Pen and  ink drawing is a time honoured technique dear to many artists because of the   instant satisfaction given by the clear, defined line. We will use   traditional and modern materials to produce portraits that look as if they were drawn by a Victorian master. We will start by looking aat a fe examples   and then learning how to produce those effects, before moving on to produce our own family heirlooms!

Workshop material:

All necessary materials can be lent by the artists. However if participants would like materials to keep, a traditional nib holder, high quality nib and small bottle of sepia ink (Winsor and Newton) plus suitable paper can be provided for an additional £12 each.
